One day I did a trip to the north of Fuerteventura with a friend who has a car. From Puerto del Rosario we followed the FV-1 along the coast and when we arrived the Parque Natural de Corralejo I was astonished: Left from us huge sand dunes towered up. It seemed like we suddenly were in the desert Sahara.

We parked the car and first did some photos of the blue ocean and white beaches on our right before we went into the dunes.
After that we drove on to Corralejo - a small village at the coast full of tourists and surprisingly lot of italians :D We walked the beach (photo in the title) and saw sand sculptures. From that point we could also see the island Lobos and Lanzarote. We were searching for something to eat and found the "Rock Café" with a huge Elvis statue in front of it. It was decorated with guitares and pictures of rock icones. So definitely my taste and I remember that for my next trip. Same as the passing to the island Lobos with a glass bottom boat :)
After lunch we drove on along the coast with only 10km/h to El Cotillo.
